With over 8 years of experience in multinational tech companies, Andrea Iorio was born in Genova, Italy, and currently serves as the Chief Digital Officer (CDO) of the Professional Products division at L’Oréal Brazil. He is also a member of the Division’s Executive committee.
He also launched Tinder in Brazil and headed it for 5 years: he started his career there in 2014, with the goal of officially launching the product in Brazil and in the other Latin American countries. He started as Marketing Director and quickly made Brazil the number 2 Tinder market in the world. Since 2017 he has been working as a Country Manager – where he manages the operation in Brazil and Latin America, managing the internal team and external agencies to continue to improve Tinder’s performance in terms of growth, brand perception and revenues. Under this last aspect, Andrea brought Tinder to become the Top Grossing app in the Brazilian App Store in 2017.

He is also the founder of the NGO Apps do Bem, which develops free tech applications for the population through its network of volunteer Developers. As part of this initiative, he launched the Ajuda Já app, which is aimed at preventing suicide through an emergency button on your phone.
He graduated in Economics from Bocconi University in Milan (Italy) and holds a Master’ of Arts in International Relations from Johns Hopkins University in Washington (USA). On the side, Andrea is a Jiu Jitsu brown belt and is fluent in 5 languages (English, Portuguese, Spanish, Italian and French).
